Your Safety Comes First

PakTruck is a truck-finding platform that connects customers with truck owners and drivers. Our goal is to make it easier to find suitable transportation while helping users make informed decisions.

Please read the following safety guidelines before hiring a truck or handing over your goods.

1. Verify Before You Hand Over Your Goods

Before loading your cargo, always check:

• Driver's identity and contact details
• Truck registration number
• Truck type and details
• Ownership or authorization details, where available
• Route and destination
• Cargo details
• Agreed freight/transportation terms

Never hand over your goods until you are satisfied that the driver and truck details are correct.

2. About PakTruck Verification

PakTruck may verify information such as:

• Mobile number
• CNIC/identity
• Driving licence
• Driver photo
• Truck registration
• Ownership or authorization documents
• Other information required by PakTruck

A PakTruck Verified badge means that certain information or documents have been checked according to PakTruck's verification process.

Verification does not guarantee the safety of your goods, the future conduct of the driver, delivery, payment, or performance of the transport provider. Always use your own judgment before proceeding.

3. Protect Your Goods

Before loading:

• Clearly discuss the cargo, quantity and destination.
• Confirm who is authorized to receive the goods.
• Keep a record of the driver's details and truck registration number.
• Keep relevant receipts, invoices, delivery documents and cargo records.
• For valuable or sensitive goods, consider appropriate cargo insurance and tracking.

Do not hand over goods to a person whose identity or authorization you cannot confirm.

4. Protect Yourself From Fraud

Be careful of unusual requests or suspicious behavior.

• Do not share OTPs, PINs, passwords or banking credentials.
• Do not make payments to unknown persons without confirming the transaction.
• Be cautious if someone asks you to move the transaction outside the agreed process.
• Verify important information directly with the concerned person.
• If something seems suspicious, stop the transaction until you are satisfied with the verification.

5. Payment & Freight

Before transportation begins, clearly agree on freight amount, route, loading point, destination, loading/unloading responsibilities, and payment terms.

Keep evidence of important agreements and payments.

PakTruck does not set or guarantee the freight amount unless specifically stated for a particular service. Customers and transport providers should agree on the terms themselves.

6. Theft, Loss or Damage

Customers should take appropriate precautions according to the value and nature of their goods. For high-value cargo, consider using cargo insurance, tracking, proper documentation, additional verification, and appropriate security arrangements.

If you suspect theft, fraud or any illegal activity, do not put yourself at risk. Contact the relevant authorities where appropriate.

7. What PakTruck Does

PakTruck provides a platform to help customers find and contact truck owners/drivers.

PakTruck may provide verification features and other tools to help users make informed decisions.

However, PakTruck does not take custody of customers' goods and does not operate as the carrier of the goods unless a separate PakTruck service specifically states otherwise.

8. What PakTruck Does Not Guarantee

PakTruck does not guarantee:

• Safe transportation of goods
• Delivery of goods
• Driver or transport provider's future conduct
• Absence of fraud or theft
• Condition of goods during transportation
• Freight price
• Delivery time
• Payment between the parties
• Resolution of disputes between customers and transport providers

Users are responsible for verifying the information and terms before entering into a transportation arrangement.

9. If Something Goes Wrong

If you experience suspected fraud, theft, misuse of the platform or other suspicious activity:

• Stop the transaction if it is safe to do so.
• Keep relevant evidence, messages and transaction records.
• Report the issue to PakTruck through the available reporting/support channel.
• For suspected criminal activity, contact the relevant authorities.

PakTruck may review reported activity and take appropriate action according to its policies.

10. Important Reminder

Verify Before You Trust.

A PakTruck Verified badge is an indication that certain information has been checked. It is not a guarantee of the driver's conduct, cargo safety or successful delivery.

Always verify the driver, truck and transportation details before handing over your goods.

Privacy Policy

PakTruck respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information We Collect

• Name and profile photo
• Mobile number and email address (if provided)
• Vehicle and truck details (type, capacity, registration number, photos)
• Identity documents for driver verification: CNIC number and images, driving-licence number and images, truck-registration images
• Location (only when permission is granted) to find nearby trucks and share live tracking during an active shipment
• Shipment details you enter (pickup/delivery addresses, cargo description, contact number, freight)
• Payment receipts uploaded for load-sharing stand applications
• Device and diagnostics information for app performance and crash reporting

• Provide customer support and enforce our policies

Location Permission

Approximate or precise location is used only while you use the app, to help customers find nearby trucks and to share live tracking with the other party during an active shipment. PakTruck does not request background location.

Data Protection

We use reasonable security measures to help protect your information, including access-controlled cloud storage and signed-in-only database rules.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Account, profile, and shipment data is stored with Google Firebase. Photos and identity-document images are uploaded to Cloudinary for hosting. Crash reports are sent to Firebase Crashlytics.

Listing details (name, city, truck type, photos, ratings) are visible to signed-in customers. Your phone number is used when another user chooses to call or WhatsApp you from the app. Identity documents are reviewed by PakTruck administrators and are not shown on public listings.

Information may also be disclosed when required to provide the service or to comply with applicable laws.
